NBC Universal has announced that its current upcoming theatrical releases will be available immediately on-demand upon release day. The new roll out isn't permanent, but a new and temporary option for movie-goers as cinemas across the world have closed during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Movies will be made available for a 48-hour rental period for $19.99 on multiple on-demand platforms. Films currently in theaters, such as
Emma,
The Outsider and
The Invisible Man, will go wide on 3/20.
