s, 29,000 were on CD. As well as being placed alongside fellow nine-time chart-toppers
ABBA and
Queen, he is the oldest artist ever to score a #1 album of new
original material. At 79 years old, he’s also the oldest male solo artist to land a #1 on the Official Albums Chart.
Neil Young takes the #2 spot as
Homegrown (
Silver Bow) is the week’s best-selling vinyl release; it’s his 11th Top 10 album and highest charting collection since 1994’s
Sleeps With Angels.
Phoebe Bridgers lands a Top 40 album for the first time with
Punisher (
Dead Oceans) debuting at #6.
Outside of the Top 10,
Lamb of God debut at #16 with their self-titled eighth studio album (

On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “DaBaby” scored 7.7m streams to remain on top this week—the track was boosted by a Black Lives Matter remix released earlier this month. It finished 13,000 sales ahead of “Rain On Me” (Polydor) by
Lady Gaga &
Ariana Grande, which holds at #2, while “Breaking Me” (

A7S climbs one to a new peak at #3.
Jawsh 685 and
Jason Derulo’s “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” (Columbia) rises 18 places to #4, while
