Saturday (12/12) marks the 105th anniversary of
Frank Sinatra’s birth, and
Willie Nelson has a tribute: the album
That's Life, which honors the enduring influence of Old Blue Eyes. Issued by
Sony Legacy, the set will drop
2/26.
Nelson’s first album exploring Sinatra's artistry and repertoire, 2018's
My Way, earned Willie the
Grammy for Best Traditional Pop Solo Album.
On the new one, Nelson interprets "Nice Work If You Can Get It," "I've Got You Under My Skin," "You Make Me Feel So Young," "That's Life," "Luck Be a Lady," "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning" and "Learnin' the Blues," among others.
Diana Krall joins him on "I Won't Dance." “Cottage for Sale” was released today (12/11).
Produced by
Buddy Cannon and
Matt Rollings,
That's Life was recorded at Capitol Studios in Hollywood.
