TAG, THEY'RE IT! SHAZAM'S BIGGEST MOVERS

Suicide Squad, which opened in theaters and on HBO Max on 8/6, has Shazamers’ thumbs working overtime to identify songs by K.Flay, the Pixies and The Jim Carroll Band.

Four songs from the film fly up the Shazam USA Top 100 while a lone new single, The Weeknd’s “Take My Breath” (XO/Republic), makes it into the Top 5 of the Biggest Movers.

The feature film is bringing attention to K.Flay’s 2014 Bummer Picnic release “Can’t Sleep,” Grandson’s “Oh No!!!,” which appears on the WaterTower-released soundtrack, and two classics from the 1980s: the Pixies’ “Hey” from 1989’s Doolittle (4AD) and The Jim Carroll Band’s “People Who Died,” most recently issued by Fat Possum.

In the U.K., Love Island again dominates the Biggest Movers list with songs from Billy Lockett & Violet Skies, LEON and James Smith, but the week’s top mover comes from the Olympics closing-ceremony broadcast—Sigrid’s “Home to You.”
