Derek Ryan Smith, the multihyphenate has released four albums, three EPs, six mixtapes and more than 100 songs. His most recent full-length,
Internet Killed the Rockstar, released in February 2021 via
Big Noise, has amassed 100m global streams and spawned the artist's first Top 20 Alternative single with "Flames" f/
Avril Lavigne.
He also co-wrote fellow UTA client
Machine Gun Kelly's platinum single "Bloody Valentine," from the #1 album
Tickets to My Downfall. Alongside MGK, Mod Sun is co-writing and co-directing the upcoming documentary
Good Mourning With A U, which drops 4/20.
He will embark on an arena tour with Lavigne in Canada later this year.
