Mon Laferte has signed with

Alex Gallardo presented the news to the SML team at the label's Latin-Iberia Regional Conference.

One of the most acclaimed artists to emerge from Latin America, Chilean-born Laferte, who is now a citizen of her longtime home of Mexico, has performed on some of the world's most prestigious stages, including the
Walt Disney Concert Hall and
Hollywood Bowl in L.A.,
Lincoln Center in New York, the
National Auditorium in Mexico City and the
Movistar Arenas in Buenos Aires and Santiago, as well as at such festivals as
Coachella,
Austin City Limits,
Outside Lands and Mexico City's
Vive Latino.
Laferte is currently on her North American headlining tour, produced by
Live Nation, which includes a 5/25 stop at
Kia Forum in Inglewood, California.

Netflix will release
Mon Laferte, te amo, which documents the artist's life on tour.
