TOUR TIDBITS: RAUW, KENDRICK, KRUSH GROOVE

ROARING ON THE ROAD: Puerto Rican star Rauw Alejandro will hit arenas next spring on the Live Nation-promoted Cosa Nuestra World Tour, which begins 4/5 in Seattle and runs through 5/30 in Miami.

The UTA-booked artist's new Sony Latin album, Cosa Nuestra, recently became the first Latin LP to land 15 tracks in the Spotify global Top 200. Alejandro has also released a new, New York-shot video for “Khé?” featuring Romeo Santos.

Highlights of the upcoming itinerary include a 4/25 show at Inuit Dome in Inglewood, California, and a 5/20 visit to Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Alejandro has only played a handful of shows in 2024, but they've been big looks like the Suenos and Governors Ball festivals in Chicago and New York, respectively, plus a September appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards.

EXTRA GRAND: Kendrick Lamar and SZA's Grand National tour has grown with the addition of a third show, on 5/24, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, plus a second at Rogers Centre (6/13) in Drake's Toronto backyard. We can almost taste the beef (although in Canada, it's for some reason called "smoked meat.")

PEOPLE HAVE THE POWER: Prepare to bang those heads, as Slipknot, Linkin Park and Avenged Sevenfold will headline the Rock for People festival 6/11-13 in Hradec Kralove in the Czech Republic. The three-day, open-air event, which will also showcase Fontaines D.C., IDLES, Spiritbox and Eagles of Death Metal, takes place at an abandoned airport, an impeccable instance of Soviet-era nostalgia.

KRUSHING IT: The Game, the five original members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Method Man and Redman have been tapped to perform 5/19 at the annual Krush Groove 2025 at Kia Forum. The Live Nation show, which will also feature Baby Bash, Paul Wall, MC Magic, Lil’ Rob and Cali Swag, is being promoted by Meruelo Media's 93.5 KDAY, the world’s first hip-hop radio station.
