Kacey Musgraves concluded her 35-date
Deeper Well World Tour 12/7 with the second of two sold-out gigs at Nashville's
Bridgestone Arena, and all she got for her efforts was this photo op with
AEG Presents President of Global Touring
Rich Schaefer and her manager,
Sandbox Entertainment CEO
Jason Owen.
Reports that Schaefer tried to swindle Musgraves in a lopsided fantasy basketball trade could not be confirmed at press time.
The just-wrapped trek showcased nine tunes per night from
Deeper Well, which will be up for Best Country Album, Best Country Song, Best Country Solo Performance and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical at the upcoming
Grammy Awards. Musgraves is also nominated for Best Americana Performance with
Madi Diaz for "Don't Do Me Good."
Support came from
Lord Huron,
Father John Misty and
Nickel Creek, the latter of whom often joined Musgraves for an acoustic cover of
SZA's "Kill Bill."
Musgraves has only a handful of shows on her 2025 docket at the moment, including 3/1 at the
Extra Innings festival in Tempe, Arizona, and 7/5 at the
Zootown Festival in Missoula, Montana, but she was also just announced as the first performer at AEG's new Nashville venue,
The Pinnacle, on 2/27.
