The Ivors Academy honored the best of the U.K.’s songwriting and composing community today with a radio broadcast of The Ivors 2020 winners. Little Simz, Dave and Fraser T Smith were among honorees.
Universal Music Publishing, Warner Chappell Music and Kobalt had two winning entries each.
Little Simz and Inflo won Best Album for Grey Area (UMPG); Best Contemporary Song went to Dave and Fraser T Smith for “Black” (Warner Chappell/Kobalt). Jamie Cullum collected his first Ivor for “Age of Anxiety” (Sentric) in the Best Song Musically and Lyrically category.
