Lana Del Rey looks set to score her fifth U.K. Official Albums #1 on Friday with Chemtrails Over The Country Club (Polydor). Over on singles, Justin Bieber’s “Peaches” (EMI) could be this week’s highest new entry.
Chemtrails Over The Country Club is outselling the rest of the Top 10 combined at the halfway point with 34,000 sales. The set has already surpassed the entire first-week sales of Rey’s previous three albums, making it her strongest start to a campaign since 2014.
Justin Bieber’s JUSTICE (EMI) was the most streamed album over this past weekend; it starts at #2. Bob Dylan’s boxset 1970 (Columbia) is new at #3 and Sting’s collaborative album, Duets (UMG), is #4.
