Rumblings around Music City say that industry vet Randy Goodman will play a key role on the new Sony Nashville team. The well-liked exec served at Maverick management, where he worked with Rascal Flatts, among others; worked at Disney Music’s Lyric Street; and spent several years at RCA Nashville in top-tier marketing and promo capacities. Also notably, Goodman has strong ties to Nashville’s financial infrastructure, having Co-Chaired the economic development engine the Music City Music Council with Mayor Karl Dean and working with various other entrepreneurial entities.
