Singer Joey Feek of the duo Joey + Rory, whose struggle with cancer has moved the pair's fans, is said to be nearing the end of her life. According to Rory's blog, "My wife has been asleep for days now, and her body is shutting down quickly." The couple elected to end treatment late last year, and Joey has been in hospice; it seems unlikely she will live to see daughter Indiana's second birthday.

"On the last day Joey walked," Rory wrote, "I took her in my arms in the living room and once more put her hand in mine and we danced." In the middle of the dance, he reports, "she stopped and looked up at me and said, 'How about if I lead?'"

It's a heartbreaking story, and we wish them both peace.
