Big Yellow Dog Music

RECENT HIGHLIGHTS: Maren Morris’ amazing run, including Grammy, CMA and ACM wins. Meghan Trainor had her second #1 Country song, “Road Less Traveled” (recorded by Lauren Alaina), and her own “Dear Future Husband” just went triple platinum. Grammy-winning writer Josh Kear just had his 12th #1 as co-writer of “God, Your Mama and Me.” Our sync department just landed a really cool Toyota sync in Germany.

ON THE RUNWAY: We have an artist named Keelan Donovan on our digital-only Big Yellow Dog Music label. He’s been added to Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and the weekly buzz, and SiriusXM has been playing his music on The Pulse in heavy rotation. Were really pumped about him.

HOW ARE THE CHANGES IN NASHVILLE AFFECTING YOUR BUSINESS?
Nashville is growing; it’s so diverse, with so much opportunity. It just matches our style—it’s right in our wheelhouse. Were constantly changing and diversifying. But it’s always centered around great music. It has to start with the best songs and artists, and then all those other opportunities can come together. Now you see a lot of pop people are being positioned here; we all want to welcome everybody to come and be a part of this awesome scene. It helps everybody.
