To honor her father whodied 8/8 after a long, brave public battle with Alzheimer’s, Ashley Campbell has released a hand-written note about the genesis of “Remembering,” her 2015 debut single on Dot Records. The song, which she wrote about her father and his struggle with Alzheimer’s, was first heard in the 2015 documentary, Glen Campbell: I’ll Be Me.

From the note: “When I wrote ‘Remembering,’ I knew there would come a time when he wouldn’t know who I am, and I was looking for a way to be able to reach him, even when he seemed lost.
