Sony Music Nashville has upped Jim Catino to EVP A&R. Catino, who first joined the label in 2001, is a 23-year industry veteran. He'll continue to report directly to label chief Randy Goodman, who hailed him as "one of the most respected A&R professionals in the business."
For his part, Catino expressed his gratitude to Goodman and his label team. "I enjoy being part of building successful careers and developing exciting new talent," he added, "and I'm looking forward to what's ahead in my new post."
The Cleveland native worked at DreamWorks Music Publishing, Giant Records and MCA Music Publishing before joining SMN.
