Country music programmer Rachel Whitney is heading to Spotify from YouTube, she announced today on social media. She will be Head of Editorial for Nashville. Whitney has spent the last 17 months as YouTube’s Country Music Programming Lead. Prior to that she was head of Country Programming for Pandora for three years.

She joins Brittany Schaffer, Head of Artist & Label Marketing, as a top exec in Spotify’s Nashville office.
