Big Machine Label Group and CreatiVets have officially released Veterans Day Special. Arriving via Big Machine Records, the EP continues the ongoing partnership between BMLG and the non-profit that provides combat veterans struggling with PTSD and brain injuries a creative outlet for healing.
Following the success of their debut album Veteran Songs, which was released earlier this year, the 3-track EP features Brantley Gilbert, Love And Theft and Kalsey Kulyk.
“I have never been more excited to share these two stories of two amazing veterans that poured their heart out. I am also extremely thankful to Brantley Gilbert and Big Machine for adding an exclusive live version of Brantley's No. 1 single "One Hell Of An Amen" to this EP so we can reach more veterans than ever,” shared CreatiVets Co-Founder/Executive Director Richard Casper.
BMLG will continues their contributions to CreatiVets’ operational initiatives through Scott and Sandi Borchetta’s Music Has Value Fund and Big Machine Music, which serves as the co-publisher for CreatiVets.
Each song on the EP tells a veteran’s personal story and provides a new coping mechanism for the Vets. Fans can stream the EP on Amazon Music and across all DSPs. Additionally, a writers’ round on 11/6 with The Nashville Cartel will benefit CreatiVets and features Jared Blake, Jared Weeks and Bigg Vinny. You can livestream it at 9pm CT on Facebook.
