No.6 Collaborations Project (
Atlantic) shifting 125k combined chart sales. While it hits #1 on the Official Albums Chart, his “Beautiful People” f/
Khalid is tops at singles.
That 125k figure trumps 2019’s former fastest-selling record holder,
Lewis Capaldi, whose debut cleared 90k combined sales during its first week in May.
No.6 Collaborations Project is Sheeran’s fourth #1 album in the U.K. and has outperformed the rest of this week’s Top 30 combined. In addition, his three prior studio albums all appear in this week’s albums Top 40:
Divide is #7,
X is #18 (up 23 slots) and
+ hits #37 (up 47 places).
On the Official Singles Chart, Sheeran claims his seventh #1 as “Beautiful People” climbs to #1 from #3. Two more of the album’s songs feature in this week’s Top 5: “Take Me Back to London” f/
