Gallagher is currently outperforming the rest of the Top 5 combined.
Keane are also new at #2 today with
Cause and Effect (
Island), followed by
Blink-182’s
Nine (
Sony) at #3.
Following his Mercury win,
Dave continues to climb back up the charts with
Psychodrama (
Neighbourhood) rising 28 places to #9.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Sheeran and
Stormzy’s “Take Me Back to London” (
Atlantic) is heading for a fifth week on top. Regard’s “Ride It” (
Ministry of Sound) is close behind at #2, rising nine places since Friday.
Tones & I's “Dance Monkey” (
Parlophone) looks set to enter the Top 10 for the first time as it starts the week at #8. Stormzy could have a second appearance in the Top 20 this week with “Wiley Flow” (
Merky/Atlantic) rising up to #16, while Dave’s “Professor X” is also on course to enter the Top 20; it’s currently #18.
