Everyday Life (
Parlophone) ahead of
Robbie Williams by 4k combined sales. Over on singles,
Lewis Capaldi is challenging
Tones & I’s long reign at #1.
Williams’ sits at #2 today with his first holiday album,
The Christmas Present (
Columbia). The battle for #1 could be a close call: While
Everyday Life is #1 in downloads, Williams has sold the most physical copies at the halfway point, and had the lead on initial sales updates.
Rod Stewart is also new at #3 with his new release with the
Royal Philharmonic Orchestra,
You’re In My Heart (
Rhino).
Leonard Cohen’s first posthumous album,
Thanks For The Dance (Columbia), enters at #5.
Capaldi’s
Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent (
Virgin EMI) remains at #4 following the release of its extended edition, which is the most streamed album so far this week.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Capaldi’s new single, “Before You Go,” has risen 17 places to #2 and is just 1k combined sales behind Tones & I’s “Dance Monkey” (Parlophone).
Stormzy and
Ed Sheeran currently have the highest new entry with “Own It” f/
Burna Boy (
Atlantic/
#Merky) at #3.
Arizona Zervas is on course for a personal best as “Roxanne” (
Sony Music) is up two places to #8.
Jax Jones and
Ella Henderson’s
“This Is Real” (
Polydor) could also be looking at a new peak, currently up six places to #14.
Lewisham rapper/songwriter

D Block Europe’s “New Dior” (Sony Music) is new at #17, and
