Incarcerated rapper
6ix9ine, currently serving the rest of his sentence via home confinement, had another victory in court on Wednesday.
Judge Engelmeyer granted the rapper's request "to conduct employment-related activities outside of the residence but within the confines of the rented property." This includes an 8-hour work day to record music in his basement and film visual content within his home.
He's also granted 2-hours per week to perform work-related activities in his backyard, as long as it's pre-approved by his probation officer.
6ix9ine immediately celebrated the news by posting on
Instagram to his fans, teasing "YOU READY? May 8th" in a post.
The notorious rapper re-upped with
10K Projects while on trial last fall, reportedly for two albums worth $10m. Perhaps new material will be released next Friday, 5/8?
