Don Black, whose compositions include multiple
James Bond themes, "To Sir With Love," and
Michael Jackson’s “Ben,” has extended his worldwide deal with
Sony Music Publishing U.K.
A member of the
Songwriters Hall of Fame, Black is currently writing songs with
Van Morrison and collaborating on various new musicals. Known primarily as a lyricist, his Bond themes include "Thunderball," "Diamonds Are Forever," "The Man With The Golden Gun" and "Surrender" from
Tomorrow Never Dies.

Black has won an
Oscar for “Born Free,” two
Tony Awards for
Sunset Boulevard, six
Ivor Novello Awards and a
Golden Globe. He most recently received the Olivier Award presented by the Duchess of Cornwall.
