U.K. MIDWEEKS: THE SNUTS CUT IN

The Snuts are battling it out with Demi Lovato for this week’s U.K. Official Albums #1, currently taking the lead with their debut release, W.L. (Parlophone). Over on singles, it’s a tight contest between Nathan Evans and Lil Nas X.

At #1, The Snuts claim the most vinyl and download sales of the week so far, while Lovato’s Dancing with the Devil… The Art of Starting Over (Island), which leads on CD sales, sits just 1.1k sales behind at #2.

London post-punk outfit Dry Cleaning complete an all-new Top 3 with their debut, New Long Leg (4AD), while the next in a series of David Bowie live albums, David Bowie at The Kit Kat Klub (Live New York 99) (Parlophone), opens at #6.

The Fratellis' sixth album, Half Drunk Under a Full Moon (Cooking Vinyl), is at #7 and the most-streamed new release of the week so far is Destined 2 Win (Columbia) by rapper Lil Tjay, currently at #9.

On the U.K.’s Official Singles midweeks, Nathan Evans f/220 Kid and Billen Ted’s “Wellerman” (Polydor) is currently #1.

Lil Nas X sits just 500 sales behind with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” (RCA), while Riton x Nightcrawlers f/Mufasa & Hypeman’s “Friday” (Ministry of Sound) is just 700 chart sales behind at #3.

Joel Corry, Raye and David Guetta could earn a place in this week’s Top 5 as “BED” (Atlantic) climbs two places to #5, and Ava Max’s “My Head & My Heart” (Atlantic) flies up six to #13.
