Sources have confirmed that Cardi B is in the process of signing with Warner Chappell Music, bringing her publishing into Warner Music Group alongside her recordings.
Cardi B appears on Lizzo’s “Rumors,” which was released today; her second full-length album is expected soon. Variety broke the news that Cardi B is joining WCM.
The deal is the latest from CEO/Co-Chair Guy Moot, COO/Co-Chair Carianne Marshall and President of A&R Ryan Press, who've recently done deals with Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, Saweetie, Quincy Jones and the Cab Calloway estate, as well as producer/songwriters 42 Dugg, Belly and d.a. got that dope and the label LVRN.
