Sony is enjoying an undeniable global hot streak, dominating the international charts at both
Spotify and
Apple Music.
The House of
Stringer has seven of the Top 10 on Spotify’s global chart, led by two blazing
Columbia smashes,
The Kid LAROI’s “STAY” f/
Justin Bieber and “Industry Baby” by
Lil Nas X f/
Jack Harlow, at #1 and #2, respectively.
Måneskin’s “Beggin” (
Arista/SMLE) sits at #4,
RCA’s
Doja Cat has the #6 and #9 spots with “Need to Know” and “Woman” and
Farruko’s “Pepas” (SMLE) holds the #7 position.

The Kid LAROI and Lil Nas X claim the top two positions on Apple Music’s planetary chart as well, while Doja Cat’s “Need to Know,” at #4, once again gives Sony three of the Top Four. Doja’s “Kiss Me More” f/
SZA is #9. Add on this platform
Rod Wave (newly moved to SME with
Alamo), who has the #7 berth with “Already Won” f/
Lil Durk, and two cuts from
Big Hit/Columbia’s
BTS, “Permission to Dance” and “Butter,” at #8 and #10.
Just below the Spotify Top 10 are biggies like Lil Nas X’s “MONTERO (Call Me by Your Name)” (#11), “Todo De Ti” by SMLE’s
Rauw Alejandro (#12), “Volví” from
Aventura and
Bad Bunny (
Rimas) at #14, Måneskin’s “I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE” (#15) and Bad Bunny’s “Yonaguni” (#16).

“Pepas,” “Volví,” Doja’s “Woman” and “Ain’t Shit” and “Beggin” occupy the #12-16 positions at Apple, while Rod Wave’s “Get Ready” f/
Kodak Black is #17 and “Essence” from RCA’s
Wizkid f/
Tems holds #19.
Lil Nas, by the way, is due to drop his hotly anticipated full-length set next month. What else does Sony have in its quiver? Stay tuned for updates.
