Matthew Morgan has joined
UTA as Co-Head of its Nashville office, working alongside Co-Head
Jeffrey Hasson. Rock agent
Buster Phillips has also joined UTA’s Music City operation.
Morgan, who spent 13 years at
CAA, has worked with
Lizzo,
Zac Brown Band,
JP Saxe,
Keane,
The Revivalists and many others. He was instrumental to Lizzo’s career by introducing her to her producer and label, creating a touring strategy that took her from clubs to arenas and brokering film, TV, publishing and endorsement deals, among others.
Phillips has been an agent for the better part of 20 years. He created the college and festival divisions at CAA and contributed to the festival business at
WME. He has represented such acts as
Gov’t Mule,
Low Cut Connie,
Nicole Atkins and
The War and Treaty.

Morgan and Phillips’ announcement follows UTA’s recent hiring of Nashville-based
