Hours before dropping
One Thing at a Time (
Big Loud/
Mercury/
Republic)—which could be the biggest record of 2023—
Morgan Wallen surprised students at Knoxville's
Gibbs High School, his alma mater.
Wallen showed up Thursday (3/2) morning and invited the senior class to a special performance on the school's baseball field. The
Spotify-sponsored event included a photo booth that turned students' photos into baseball cards, customized Morgan Wallen postcards and some of Wallen’s favorite concessions.
One Thing at a Time serves as the follow-up to 2021's
Dangerous: The Double Album, which has racked up more than 7m units YTD.
One Thing is projected to be massive and currently sits at #1 at both Spotify and
Apple Music.
