Philadelphia is becoming "Swift-adelphia" as it gears up for three nights of
Taylor Swift's
Eras Tour;
Audacy and
96.5 TDY are celebrating Tay's return to Philly by renaming the station "Ninety Swift Five T-A-Y" (until 5/15, that is).
The outlet will play only Swift songs and change its logo to reflect the new format: “Taylor’s Hits.”
WTDY-FM will also make its presence known at
Lincoln Financial Field prior to Swift's shows 5/12-14, meeting listeners, mounting “Taylor-oke,” hosting a photo booth with props from each "era" of the tour and giving listeners one last chance to win tickets.
“It’s an exciting time for our stations as we welcome Taylor Swift back to Philadelphia,” said
David Yadgaroff, SVP and market manager, Audacy Philadelphia. “TDY will celebrate this amazing weekend by showcasing Taylor in a special way. We can’t wait to turn TDY into T-A-Y, Taylor’s Hits!”
Rumors that a Liberty Bell (Taylor's Version) monument had been created couldn't be confirmed at press time.
