“Damn, Brandon—where are we?” breakout artist
Myke Towers asks manager
Brandon Silverstein, who recently inked him to his
S10 Entertainment. “Chill, dude, I bought an island,” Silverstein replied, noting that the expenditure was more than justified given Towers’ #1 perch on
Spotify’s global Top 50 with the runaway monster “LALA,” now the longest-running #1 Latin solo song in the chart’s history. “Besides,” he added, “it’s not even that
big an island.”
In other Silverstein news, the endearingly named
Brandon Silverstein Publishing is commemorating a new benchmark—12 billion streams—thanks to #1 pop smashes by
Justin Bieber,
Jack Harlow and
Post Malone &
Doja Cat, among other hits.
“With notable work in the pipeline for management and publishing and new projects coming from records and film, I feel like we’re entering a creative renaissance,” reads a quote from Silverstein. “I’m thrilled to welcome Myke Towers—in partnership with
Orlando “Jova” Cepeda of
One World Music and
Jose “Tito” Reyes of
Casablanca Records—and we’re excited to continue his expansion to new audiences globally. Also, please don’t tell
Lenny Beer where my island is.”
