Half a year after
Dead & Co. played the last stop of their final tour, the long strange trip might continue in Las Vegas at
Sphere.
The
New York Post reports that talks are underway to bring the
Bob Weir/
John Mayer-led
Grateful Dead offshoot to
James Dolan’s Sphere for a residency.
U2’s 40-show run ends in March and
Phish has a week of concerts in April. After that, the stage appears to be open. If Weir, Mayer,
Mickey Hart and co. decide to take it, summer would be the time.
I wonder what Sphere’s 1.2 million lightbulbs look like when you’re tripping...
