Joni Mitchell will take the
Grammy Awards stage for the first time at next week's 66th annual gathering, capping a remarkable comeback after a string of health problems sidelined the 80-year-old legend from performing for a decade.
Mitchell is also a Grammy nominee this year for
Live at Newport, a chronicle of her surprise 2022 performance at the annual Rhode Island festival with the help of
Brandi Carlile and numerous musical admirers. The
Rhino set is up for Best Folk Album.
She joins a Grammy performer lineup already featuring
Dua Lipa,
Billie Eilish,
Luke Combs,
Billy Joel,
Olivia Rodrigo,
Travis Scott and
U2 live from their residency at Las Vegas'
Sphere. The 2/4 ceremony kicks off at 5pm PT on
CBS and will be available to stream live and on demand on
Paramount+.
Music's Biggest Night will take place at L.A.'s
Crypto.com Arena with host
Trevor Noah.
