New (and not-so-new) tracks by
Chappell Roan,
Post Malone,
Ella Langley and
KAROL G are sizzling at DSPs. It's not too late to add to your "Song of the Summer" playlist.
Chappell Roan, "Hot To Go" (Amusement/Island; Wasserman): The rise of Roan continues to accelerate as fans discover other cuts from her 2023 full-length,
The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. "Hot To Go" has exploded—joining the latest release from Roan, "Good Luck, Babe," in the Top 20 on
Spotify U.S. The song has an extremely viral
TikTok dance, which Roan has performed at
Hangout Fest,
Boston Calling,
Governors Ball and
Bonnaroo since her breakout
Coachella set.
Post Malone f/Blake Shelton, "Pour Me a Drink" (Mercury/Republic; CAA): There's no doubt fans approve of Malone's country crossover. The multigenre hitmaker tapped
Blake Shelton and a fiddler for the most recent taste of the just-announced
F-1 Trillion, his debut country full-length; in its opening week, "Pour Me a Drink" climbed to #10 on Spotify and #13 on
Apple Music U.S. Malone has spent lots of time in Nashville over the last month, hitting
CMA Fest, the
Bluebird Cafe with
Lainey Wilson and other surprise gigs at Music City bars. Malone and
Bud Light are hosting "A Night in Nashville" 7/16, one month before the release of
F-1 Trillion.
KAROL G, "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido" (Bichota/Interscope; UTA): The Colombian phenom returns with her first new cut since February as her
Live Nation-produced trek becomes the biggest-ever European tour by a Latin artist. KG's merengue-infused "Si Antes," produced with
Coke Studios, reached #14 on Spotify global on 6/25. It's also Top 40 at Apple U.S.
Ella Langley f/Riley Green, "you look like you love me" (Columbia; The Neal Agency): The ascent of country breakout
Ella Langley is another example of a coastal major striking gold in Nashville. Langley joined forces with
Riley Green—whom she supported on his latest headlining tour—for "you look like you love me," which has ballooned at TikTok since she began teasing it in May. The duet, which arrived 6/21, has reached #30 at Apple Music. Up next for Langley are shows with
HARDY,
Morgan Wallen and
Luke Bryan and in August, her first North American headlining tour.
