
Taylor Swift was forced to cancel three concerts in Vienna this week after two suspects were arrested for allegedly plotting a terror attack.
"We have no choice but to cancel the three scheduled shows for everyone's safety,”
a message from Barracuda Music read. "All tickets will be automatically refunded."
Per
ABC News, authorities arrested a 19-year-old Austrian citizen on Wednesday morning (8/7) and a second suspect just hours later. The former allegedly pledged allegiance to the leader of Islamic State in early July.

Ministry of the Interior director-general for public safety, said during a press conference that Vienna was the target of the planned attack and that the 19-year-old suspect had homed in on Swift's Vienna stop at
Ernst-Happel Stadium (pictured).
Swift is on another international run as part of her massively successful
Eras Tour, which began in the U.S. in March 2023. She was scheduled to perform in Vienna on Thursday (8/8), Friday (8/9) and Saturday (8/10). The tour is expected to resume 8/15 at London's
Wembley Stadium, where Swift will be joined by
SOFIA ISELLA and
Paramore.
