IHEART TAKES DAVID'S "BORN" TO THREE FORMATS

Måneskin frontman Damiano David is the first artist to receive a multiformat On the Verge designation from iHeart, which will work the budding Arista hit single "Born With a Broken Heart" at Pop, Alt and Hot AC.

The romantic cut, co-written with Jason Evigan, Mark Schick and Sarah Hudson, has gone Top 30 at Pop radio in just a few weeks and is streaming 700k per day worldwide. At Spotify, it's well on its way to 20m global streams.

David will also showcase "Born" at iHeart's ALTer Ego show at Kia Forum on 1/11 alongside alt stalwarts Cage the Elephant, Incubus and Glass Animals.

“Part of Damiano’s brilliance is that he creates music that defies genres,” said iHeart Media Chief Programming Officer Tom Poleman. “When our iHeart programmers first heard 'Born With a Broken Heart,' we knew it didn’t fit into just one format, so we decided to do something we’ve never done before: our first multiple format On the Verge across three genres.”
