THE WEEKND'S TOMORROW BOUND FOR BIG DEBUT

The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow (XO/Republic) will more than double the opening of his previous release, 2022's Dawn FM.

Given its first weekend of sales and streams, Hurry Up Tomorrow is anticipating a first week of 350-375k. How high will it go? Stay tuned.

The Weeknd was the biggest surprise at last night's 67th Grammy Awards, presenting previously unannounced performances of "Cry for Me" and "Timeless," the latter with Playboi Carti. He'd boycotted the event for years over a perceived lack of transparency and fairness in the voting process.

Hurry Up Tomorrow closes a chapter for the artist born Abel Tesfaye, ending the trilogy that began with 2020’s After Hours and continued with Dawn FM. He’s joined by a number of guests for the trip, including Future, Justice, Travis Scott, Florence + the Machine, Lana Del Rey and Anitta.
