MusiCares' annual event, a virtual celebration that will take the place of the in-person Person of the Year gala. The fundraiser will also feature archival performances by
Bruce Springsteen,
Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty and
Usher.
Music on a Mission, a virtual fundraiser honoring the resilience of the music community impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, will be presented 3/12, two nights before the 63rd Annual
Grammy Awards.
Carole King, the
Jonas Brothers,
Ledisi,
Lionel Richie,
Macklemore,
Mick Fleetwood,
Paul McCartney,
Ringo Starr,
Shakira and
Jesse & Joy will also appear at the event, which is open to the public.
Tickets are $25, with
an upgrade available.
Since the start of the pandemic, MusiCares has distributed more than $22m to help more than 25,000 people across the industry.
