After sneaking a tease onto
SportsCenter last week,
Drake confirmed on Monday morning that his hotly anticipated
Certified Lover Boy (
OVO/
Republic) will drop this Friday, 9/3, setting up another monster week of activity.
Drake first announced the project in mid-2020, teasing that it would arrive in January 2021. However, having worked on
CLB throughout the year, he'll once again deliver an album on the heels of a
Kanye West project amid a highly publicized feud between the two superstars.
Happy holiday weekend!
