The
LA Family Housing 2022 Awards will honor
Interscope Vice Chairman
Steve Berman, his better half,
Frances, and daughters
Lucie and
Liliana on 4/21, at the
Pacific Design Center. The ceremony, which will celebrate the org's supporters and staff and raise funds to further its mission of ending homelessness in Los Angeles, will feature performances by
Ellie Goulding and
Ben Platt. The awards are returning to an in-person gala after two years of virtual gatherings.

In the last year, LAFH has connected nearly 12k beneficiaries with housing and support resources (2.5k were moved into permanent housing). Additionally, the org is working to build affordable housing. In one prominent instance, it's converting four motels into permanent residences in partnership with California's Project Homekey.
Said LAFH President and CEO
Stephanie Klasky-Gamer, “We're especially proud to honor the Berman family this year for their 15 years of outstanding commitment to LA Family Housing as donors, volunteers and strong advocates on behalf of our work to end homelessness.”
One of the city's largest homeless-service providers and developers of affordable real estate, LA Family Housing operates 30 properties dedicated to interim, affordable and supportive housing, with 700 new homes on track to be completed in the next few years.
