TOP TOURING ACTS VIE FOR POLLSTAR AWARDS

In case you missed the news Friday amid the arrival of the Grammy nominees, the contenders for the 36th annual Pollstar Awards have also been unveiled. The hardware will be handed out 2/19 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel as part of the Pollstar Live! conference.

Coldplay, Morgan Wallen, Noah Kahan, Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift and Zach Bryan will compete for Major Tour of the Year, while Chappell Roan, Charli xcx, Fred again.., Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter and Sleep Token were recognized in the New Headliner of the Year category.

Trophies will also be bestowed for Residency of the Year, New Concert Venue of the Year and a variety of genre-based outings, including in rock, country, Latin and comedy.

This year's ceremony will feature a new prize, the Maxie Solters Award for Touring Publicist of the Year, in honor of the Scoop Marketing publicist, who died in August.
