The Recording Academy’s 2020 Special Merit Awards.
Prine, Hayes, Pop and Chicago are Lifetime Achievement Award honorees along with
Roberta Flack,
Public Enemy and
Sister Rosetta Tharpe. Ehrlich, composer-pianist
Philip Glass and
Columbia and
MGM A&R exec
Frank Walker are Trustees Award honorees, and audio and acoustical engineer
George Augspurger is the Technical Grammy Award recipient.
A presentation ceremony and concert celebrating the honorees will be held 4/18 at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium.
