Spotify has launched its first-ever
Spotify Singles x Pride campaign with three new cover tracks from emerging LGBTQ+ artists
Orville Peck,
Rina Sawayama and
Joesef.
As a part of the company’s global
Pride 2020: Unlike Any Other playlist, which includes
Amplify: Pride music & podcast hub,
House of ___ Ballroom playlists and the
My LGBTQ+ Soundtrack with social media share cards, the special Spotify Singles edition features home-recorded covers, a first for the program’s 500 original recordings.
Included in the Pride Spotify Single's campaign is Peck's cover of
Bronskski Beat’s “
Smalltown Boy,” Sawayama's rendition of
Lady Gaga’s “
Dance In The Dark” and Joesef's interpretation of
Sister Sledge’s “
Thinking of You.” Accompanying artwork for each track features self-shot and intimate at-home photos incorporated with a new Spotify Singles visual design.
All tracks are available for streaming now. You can also check out the entire collection of Spotify Singles
