Taylor Swift’s Folklore (EMI) has overtaken Fontaines D.C. to claim a second week at the top of the U.K.’s Official Albums Charts thanks to an early release of the album on CD. Over on singles, Joel Corry and MNEK’s “Head & Heart” (Asylum) scores a third week at #1.
Folklore holds onto the top spot with a lead of 3,500 chart sales ahead of Fontaines D.C.’s A Hero’s Death (Partisan). A Hero’s Death is the week’s best-seller on vinyl, accounting for more than 60% of its sales.
Creeper earn their highest chart position yet with Sex, Death & The Infinite Void (Roadrunner) at #5 and Alanis Morissette’s Such Pretty Forks In The Road (Sony) debuts at #8.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, “Head & Heart” is shaping up to be the song of the summer with 79,000 chart sales this week, including 9.5m streams.
