Streamery
Audiomack has officially launched the
Audiomack Monetization Program (AMP), which enables creators to generate revenue from their streams; it's now available to authenticated creators in the U.S., U.K. and Canada. Content creators can apply
here.
Over the last year, the AMP attracted early adopters like
Megan Thee Stallion,
Lil Durk and
Flume, who used it as a stepping stone to critical mass. It's due to launch in other regions, including Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America, in 2021.
The platform is a free streaming service with a competitive per-stream rate on all Audiomack uploads. In addition to its monetization program, it offers unlimited hosting, advanced stats, scheduling, content-sharing tools, trend-consideration submissions and more.
Earlier this month, Audiomack inked a new licensing agreement with
Warner Music, making the label’s catalog available on the platform in Africa, Canada and Jamaica. It also provides support for the company's A&R research activities across these territories. The company first partnered with
WMG last year.
Currently boasting more than 16m monthly active users, Audiomack was created by
Dave Macli and
David Ponte in 2012. Rumors that a culinary version called Audiomack and Cheese was in the works could not be confirmed at presstime.
