BENNETT, GAGA SET AN MTV DATE

MTV Unplugged will return with a Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga edition, airing 12/16 at 9pm ET.

MTV Unplugged: Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga follows One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, Sunday night's primetime special on CBS, now streaming on Paramount+, which pulled in 6.1m viewers, per overnight ratings.

Unplugged will feature the pair doing stripped-down duets and solo songs from their October release, Love for Sale (Columbia/Interscope), a celebration of Cole Porter. The album is up for six Grammy Awards.

The production is part of a partnership among Bennett, Gaga and ViacomCBS that next year will see the debut of The Lady and The Legend on Paramount+.

MTV Unplugged: Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga is the latter's first appearance on the series; Bennett famously did the show way back in 1994.
