UTA has inked pop vocalist supreme, author and mental-health advocate
Demi Lovato for representation in all areas. The artist was formerly on
WME's roster.
The
Island star, whose pronouns are they/them, bowed in the Top 5 in April with the album
Dancing With the Devil ... The Art of Starting Over. Its release followed Lovato's powerful
Grammy performance of the song "Anyone" and stratospheric National Anthem rendition at the
Super Bowl.
Also in 2021, Lovato was the subject of a four-part
Netflix documentary series,
Dancing With the Devil, which premiered at
SxSW to strong reviews. The two-time
Grammy nominee has also received a
GLAAD Vanguard Award for advocating on behalf of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to making multiple film and TV appearances this year, the singer debuted the podcast
4D With Demi Lovato (on which it was announced that the artist identifies as non-binary).
Lovato is repped for artist management by
Scooter Braun Projects, for legal by
Carroll Guido Groffman Cohen Bar & Karalian, LLP, and for business management by the
Nordlinger Group.
