The Killers have claimed their seventh #1 on the U.K.’s Official Albums Chart with
Pressure Machine (
EMI). Over on singles,
Ed Sheeran spends an eighth week on top with “Bad Habits” (
Atlantic).
Pressure Machine earned 25k in chart sales this week, 84% of which were physical, including 5.4k on vinyl. As Killers frontman
Brandon Flowers is also a solo artist, the band's streak of seven means he, personally, has had an unbroken run of
nine chart-topping albums.
Elsewhere on the album chart,
Olivia Rodrigo’s
SOUR (
Polydor) rebounds to #2 as the most-streamed set of the week.
Jungle claims its personal best with
Loving in Stereo (
Caiola), at #3.
Last week’s #1,
We’re All Alone in This Together (
NBR), by
Dave, drops to #4 and following the announcement of Sheeran’s new album,
=, his 2017 release,
Divide, re-enters the Top 10 at #10.
On the U.K.’s Official Singles Chart, Sheeran’s “Bad Habits” enjoys a boost this week thanks to a remix by
Fumez the Engineer featuring
Tion Wayne and
Central Cee. The track racked up 11m streams and continues to lead on downloads, too.
“Remember” (Polydor) by
Becky Hill and
David Guetta climbs two to #3.
Digga D and
Arrdee’s collaboration, “Wasted” (
EGA), is the highest new entry at #6.
Also in the Top 10: “Industry Baby” (
RCA) by
Lil Nas X and
Jack Harlow climbs four to #7 and “Talk About” (Polydor) by
Rain Radio and
Craig Gorman jumps five to #9.
KSI’s “Holiday” (
BMG) is also up two, to #10.
