The lads of
Imagine Dragons are celebrating some new career milestones. The
Mac Reynolds-managed quartet (who are repped for U.S. engagements by
Corrie Martin at
Wasserman) recently earned Diamond certification on “Demons,” making them the only band to have a trio of
RIAA Diamond singles, including “Radioactive” (14x platinum) and “Believer” (10x platinum).
“Radioactive” is now also tied for the highest single certification with
Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” and
Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
In celebration of the Dragons' new album,
Mercury - Act 1, which arrived 9/3 via
KIDinaKorner/
Interscope (with
Rick Rubin on board a exec producer),
Amazon Music hosted an album release livestream event on
Amazon Live the night before, during which the band performed acoustic versions of their new songs and hits and conducted a live Q&A with fans.
