“The K-pop market has proven its width and depth and is more mature than ever. I hope our launch of this formal partnership with AEG Presents can help K-pop reach new horizons,” said Powerhouse CEO and President
C.S. Hah, who founded Powerhouse in 2008. It now has headquarters in Seoul and Los Angeles.
AEG Presents and Powerhouse inaugurated their relationship in 2010 with the
SMTOWN concert at
Staples Center, regarded as the first blast of K-pop in the U.S.—it sold out 12.5k tickets in a matter of minutes.
“Powerhouse and AEG Presents have a great history together, and our collaboration has only become more extensive as the barriers among global music markets continue to evaporate,” said
