A glance at the daily
Spotify global chart reveals the dominance of
Taylor Swift and Latin hitmakers
Peso Pluma,
Bizarrap,
Rauw Alejandro and
Fuerza Regida.
Swift and Pluma have been trading places as the artist with the most spots on the Spot's chart. On 6/26 Pluma got the edge with 14 cuts in the Top 200, including collabs at #1 and #5 and two arrivals from his album
Génesis, "Lady Gaga" and "Luna," which climbed to #11 and #16, respectively.
Swift has 12 tracks in the Top 200, led by
Lover's "Cruel Summer," claiming a new peak of #3. The
Republic superstar's mind-blowing range of activity spans songs from
Midnights,
1989,
Speak Now,
folklore,
reputation and the aforementioned
Lover—and that's just in the Top 100.
Notable new action includes that surrounding
Bizarrap and
Rauw Alejandro, who drop two new collabs. The first, "Rauw Alejandro: Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 56" opened at #4 last week; the second is five-day-old "BABY HELLO," about to enter the Top 50. BZRP now has five songs in the Top 200.
Sony Latin's
Fuerza Regida, meanwhile, is also making noise with two new singles as the just-released "SABOR FRESA" joins "TQM" in the Top 20.
Our abacus is likewise tracking
Myke Towers' heat-seeking "LALA" (
One World/
Warner Latina), which should enter Spotify's daily
global chart by the end of the week. The song has exploded on
TikTok, generating north of 200k creations in the last month.
