Muni Long is back with a new single called “Made for Me” (Supergiant Records/Def Jam), the R&B singer-songwriter’s first release of 2023. With its delicate piano notes and mellow backing beat, the track allows Long to explore her dynamic vocal range as she reflects on a new romantic interest.
“Made for Me” follows her breakout year, which included a Grammy for the 2022 hit “Hrs & Hrs," a remix of the song with Usher and a performance at Essence Fest.
Long spent the last decade writing songs for Rihanna, Mariah Carey, Madonna, Chris Brown, Ariana Grande, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson and Selena Gomez, among others.
